Art Garfunkel Would Be So Proud

So I looked over at the last post I created and it has been literal months. A couple of lame excuses for this: one is that after working to get into Clemson and a few other places I checked out, there seems to be a newfound rejection of stadium appreciation among school administrators. I understand. I think that a lot of people have been trying to do this, but now that it is cared about on the internet it's become a little bit of a publicity or branding problem. I think that will cool off come this spring. The second reason for the lack of posting has been Ohio State's run at the National Title. Just because I am trying to cultivate a better appreciation for college football as a whole does not mean that I cannot be a complete and total homer. I'm pretty excited about this coming Monday and obviously hope the Buckeyes smoke LSU. Third is one part laziness, one part craziness (see what I did there?). We're moving back to Cincinnati because frankly, Washington, DC is not for me. I also am ready to finish up the graduate degree instead of allowing it to hang over my head for an even longer extended period of time. So there's all of that. I have four or five school posts to create or edit. I was in Columbus for Christmas and guess whose Horseshoe was wide open? I'll have some cellphone Ohio State pictures to add since it was a total improv visit. I will say that I actually had goosebumps for the first and hopefully last time going into an empty stadium in the middle of December.

Literally my favorite album of all time. The song "Richard Cory" is what keeps me coming back for more...

Are you at a point where you can admit that the SEC is superior to the Big 10?

By the way, I went into an empty horseshoe back in November. Want my pictures?

I appreciate the offer on the pictures, but I'll upload the cell phone ones I got.

As far as superiority goes, LSU was better than Ohio State this year and Florida was better than Ohio State last year. I have no problem at all admitting that, but I don't play the whole "My conference can beat up your conference" game. I've never claimed the Big 10 is better than anyone, let alone the SEC, the Big XII, the MAC or Division III. That was easily the least disciplined performance I've ever seen out of a Tressel team and was planning on doing a post this weekend after I've had time to digest and dry my eyes.
