Syracuse: The Carrier Dome

The Carrier Dome was fantastic. It was a little disappointing that the field was set up for a small court basketball tournament, but I think all that did was open up the place for us to get into a little easier. I thought about how cool it would have been to be able to see Donovan McNabb work his Orange magic on the field, and came to the obvious conclusion that it would have been a great experience. The Carrier Dome is the most obvious choice in upstate New York for concerts, especially big ones in the winter. Phil Collins will attest to that above.

First Game: v. Miami University, 1980

Surface: Field Turf

Hey, just a note - your Google map link goes to the UB (Buffalo) stadium, not the Carrier Dome. Just thought I'd mention that.
