Buffalo: UB Stadium

First one to explain what this sign says wins "Greatest Reader of Forever" Recognition. It was up in the stadium.

University at Buffalo Stadium was part of the "Drive to Division I" that the school commenced after Buffalo was relegated all the way into Division II. The trick eventually worked as the Bulls moved up through I-AA into Division I-A. What it didn't manage to do was to make the Bulls anything near competitive in Division I-A. The Bulls have been a stellar 12-79 since moving into the "Bowl Subdivision". That record against a field of MAC opponents as well.

First Game: v. University of Maine, 1993

Surface: Momentum Turf

*If you can tell us what the sign means and what Momentum Turf is, you get to become Grand Chancellor of this blog*

A minor clarification. It's the State University at Buffalo, not OF
Buffalo.

greg: Noted and fixed. Thanks for clearing that up. Can you clear up the sign at the beginning of the post?

It's supposed to be an ad for milk. Milk for health. The guys with the cows.

zibby - you're a hero amongst the internet baffoonery that we all have to deal with. Coming back to this 4 years later and following up on that question is probably my favorite thing that has happened on this blog. It makes me regret abandoning it.

Seriously bravo.
