The area around Boston College, I believe Chestnut Hill, is the most beautiful neighborhood I've been through yet to get to a field. As you pull into Chestnut Hill from I-90, you are forced to drive through a neighborhood of million dollar homes in an effort to probably shame you should you be from South Bend, IN. The stadium was a little smaller from the inside than I would have expected, but the focus on excellence and tradition seemed to be dripping from the bleachers. I found out that the stadium was opened by then Senator John F. Kennedy in 1957 in a game against the Naval Academy.
First Game: v. Navy, 1957
Surface: Field Turf
