Michigan State: Spartan Stadium

If the only reason you're locking your stadium down is because your field looks like it has a disease, then you have problems. The kinds of problems that come when the only person that could help me get into the stadium according to the lady on the fifth floor of the stadium offices, is Amy. Amy likes being at the softball field rather than the office, so Amy might suck at her job. Michigan State employed a little bit of trickery to keep people off the field: Garage Doors. That's right. Each and every entrance from the concourse to the field had a garage door. It was both new and effective. But not totally.

To be fair, the doors kept us off the field, but not out of the stands. There was a small walkway that was pretty easy to jump up and over, and then run up the walkway to get out into the stands before someone noticed. The sad thing was that this walkway led all the way up to the top level. So the pictures are kind of lame, but you can see the grass version of chicken pox that Spartan Stadium clearly is suffering from in the picture. The field was in miserable condition, and Michigan State Softball sucks. There, I said it.
