Michigan: Michigan Stadium

Ugh. This was tough. Not "There's no way we can get in here" tough. No, "My tummy hurts because I swore to never set foot within 50 miles of this dump" tough. Michigan Stadium is obviously an historic place. And to be honest, there was a sense of awe in the sheer magnitude of it. There was a whole corner of the bleachers taken out as some of the major renovation is already underway apparently. There are plans to add luxury boxes and widen the seats by 2010. The tour guide at Penn State told me that Beaver Stadium would assume the top position as the largest stadium in the nation after the renovations, but you ma'am are wrong. Michigan Stadium is actually adding to its size in order to top 108,000 according to Wikipedia. Anyhow, I said something nice. So that's it.

I don't think you've read much of the rest of this site, have you?

I have my favorites and I have some that I am cranky about because of any number of factors. In this case, I'd take the chance to dump all over Michigan anytime I possibly can.
