Central Michigan: Kelly-Shorts Stadium

I learned a lot at Kelly-Shorts Stadium. I learned what "UP" stands for (Upper Peninsula). I also learned that when EA wants information on a field, they send a team there to take a bunch of pictures and blue prints so they are at least mostly accurate. Central Michigan is also really far away from anything. That about sums it up. The kid that runs the front desk at the indoor sports park next to the
stadium, Josh, was nice enough to let us into the locked stadium. He also tried to show me up by jumping on the building behind the end zone and then offering to help me up there. I may not be a strong guy, Josh, but I can still jump on top of a building without your help. In the end, we couldn't have made it on the inside without your help, so thanks for that.

First Game: v. Illinois State, 1972

Surface: Field Turf
