Washington: Husky Stadium

At the end of June in 2005, my wife and I took our honeymoon to Seattle and took the opportunity to drive by the University of Washington. It's a pretty cool part of the town, but the stadium is able to be viewed from a little causeway that takes you out of Seattle into Bellevue where all the rich people live. The open end of the stadium is out toward Union Bay and it's probably one of the best placed stadiums I've seen.

As a lifelong Husky fan and Seattle resident who grew up a 5 minute drive from Husky Stadium I am glad to see someone from outside Seattle appreciate the one part of Husky football that can never go bad. Too bad you weren't able to see it on a sunny game day.

Matt: I can't wait to get back up to Seattle. I am planning a literal week long trip up through the whole of the west and will be seeing the stadium again. It'll be spring, so I am planning on neither sunshine nor game. But getting back to Seattle will be a pretty damn sweet reward.
