Easily the most ridiculously beautiful stadium I've ever seen. The setting right up against the mountains is unbelievable. The grass in the stadium is meticulous and it was just really pleasant all around. I just really don't have anything else to say except how visually amazing the whole set up was here.

You made it to Provo without stopping by the U in Salt Lake? Seems like a waste. Besides, Rice Eccles is one of the prettier stadiums in the west.
Who are those crazy looking doods sitting in the bottom corner of the "Y" section. Hardcore fans waiting for another exciting season of mormon football?
I made a huge mistake in not going to the other fields in Salt Lake. I actually decided after I was almost in Nevada to make this a tour/goal/game.
This is one of the most beautiful stadiums in the west. I was there for the Tulsa game last year and a huge lightning storm came up from over the nearby lake. I was safe inside the press box but I thought everyone else on the outside were sitting ducks because of all the metal bleachers. They called a rain delay and all the students ran on the field sliding on the grass. It was quite a sight.
I know I'm only at 20 stadiums so far, but I still believe that this is the most beautifully placed stadium. I am kind of pissed that I have to travel all the way to the Northern Utah area to see two more fields, but I welcome the excuse to visit Provo again.
As beautiful as LES is, the stadium is much more impressive on game day. I have some connections to the program and there are some projects underway this summer that are going to make the stadium even more incredible this fall. Should be quite a site. Come check out LES on gameday this fall, I'll spot you some tickets.
There's a good possibility that I'm heading back west this fall. You can bet that I'll be taking you up on that offer for tickets. Part of the fun is getting to meet up with some new people too, so as little tailgating as there is in Provo, I'd love to enjoy some Sprite and Apple Juice (no caffeine!)...
If you do get out to BYU for a game, the booster club has a program where volunteers will give tours of the stadium, press box, president's box, etc. for visiting fans.
Give the athletic department a call and tell them why you're coming, and I'm sure they will hook you up with a tour (probably give you a press pass, too).
I've been to Rice Eccles stadium; before AND after the renovation. It's not one of the prettier stadiums in Utah, let alone the west.
